Jonathan Curtis
I have been Headteacher at Heaton School in Stockport since September 2018 and previously the Deputy Head.
My background and training is as a PE Specialist working initially in mainstream PE moving over to an emphasis on students with additional needs through exposure to the School Sports Coordinator role that saw me teach in all Special settings and PRUs in Stockport whilst based at Heaton School. After this I became the PE Lead teacher at Piper Hill Specialist Support School in Manchester before securing the Deputy Head position at Heaton School.
My experience in a number of school settings enables me to contribute as a Governor at Brentwood.
Out of school I enjoy spending time with my family and I'm a real sports enthusiast and enjoy running, playing and coaching hockey and football.
